There’s something so magical about maternity shoots — that quiet excitement and the love between two people as they wait to meet the newest member of their family. It just seem to radiate in every moment.

I was lucky to photograph Kate and Leighton as they prepare for the arrival of their new baby. The day had been raining but the evening cleared slightly and the evening was calm.

These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do — freezing time in photographs that will become a tangible memory of this fleeting chapter.

Soon, their arms will be full and their lives forever changed. But for now, these photos capture the pause, the stillness, and the deep joy of waiting for their baby to arrive.
